About Tim Armantrout

Tim has been on his spiritual journey for over two decades. Very early on he felt that humans utilized only a small portion of their potential and wanted to find out how to tap that potential. Since his parents and family were conservative Catholics having little understanding or acceptance of metaphysical principles, he turned to books (there was no internet in 1979!).

He started at age 14 with Herbert Benson MD’s book, The Relaxation Response, ironically from his parent’s own bookshelves, and followed with Sheila Ostrander’s book, Superlearning, in 1979. In his late teens, he began regularly attending channeling sessions and frequenting the local metaphysical bookstore, reading books like The Boy Who Saw True and Autobiography of a Yogi. Many books and seminars later he continues to study and grow using the principles he has learned and developed over the years.

The Team

SHI3FT TO SPIRITUAL FREEDOM

After coming together in 2005, Tim and Sunny began an intensive journey of discovery together. They regularly utilized the techniques and principles of Byron Katie, Don Miguel Ruiz and others to question their thoughts, and to avoid blaming, especially around emotionally charged events. They saw each other as a mirror for what needed to be healed, but had yet remained undiscovered in themselves. They decided to consolidate their experience into a step-by-step process to make it easier to follow and understand. They call it the SHI3FT. This acronym stands for Spotlight, Heed, Inquire, Investigate, Identify, Formulate, Transmute.
